I am in the process of making some changes in my life, some very drastic changes... and I found this thing that I wrote years ago when I was going through a rough period...and I just felt like sharing it...instead of ripping it up and throwing it away with the rest of my 12 yrs that I am getting rid of now...

If things had been different
Would you be my man?
If things were different
I'd be able to stand
The pain and the heartache that I am going through now
Life's unbending pathway oft times leaves us
with little gaps and spaces to wonder If? Sooo...

If I were the one to cry for help
would you be the one to answer
"I'm here without a doubt"
If I was your friend that's what I'd expect from you
But that just might not be your point of view.


If a movement wasn't necessary, would I be able to
Rid myself of the diseased elements in my life.
There are times I just sit and wonder, If
An abortion wouldn't have been the perfect cure
For the one whom I try not to forget
Maybe If I stopped wondering If, then
Things would be better, somehow...
